Çocuk Yaşta Evliliğe Son (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects the people who visit cocukyastaevliligeson.com, the donors and volunteers who write to us, and above all the children whose safety is the reason this charity exists. This Privacy Policy explains what information this static website can and cannot collect, how we think about personal data when a representative later contacts you, and the special care we take around children’s information.
This policy is written in plain language for an international audience. It does not name a headquarters country. If a privacy law in your place of residence grants you rights we must honour, those rights apply in addition to this text. This page is not legal advice.
This website is a collection of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and image files. Forms on the site run only in your browser. They validate that required fields are filled, that an email looks like an email, and that a donation amount is greater than zero. They do not send your data to a server from this page. When validation succeeds, the page shows: “One of our representatives will contact you.”
That message is a confirmation of a valid local submission. It is not a guarantee that a database has stored your record. If we operate email, donation follow-up, or mailing lists outside this static site, we will treat information we actually receive through those channels according to this policy. Do not type secrets, card numbers, or a child’s identifying details into any form on this site.
This policy covers visitors, newsletter subscribers, donors who complete an intention form, volunteers, event applicants, commenters, and people who email info@cocukyastaevliligeson.com. It also describes our principles for programme participants even though their case files are never meant to live in public website forms.
Depending on the form, you may type a name, email address, subject, message, donation amount, currency, designation, honour name, volunteer skills, or a comment. Search boxes may contain keywords you choose. We ask only for what the form needs. Optional fields such as “give in honour of” should not include a child’s full identity if that would create risk.
Used to understand your question and to reply. Please do not include medical records, legal case numbers, or the name of a girl at risk unless a staff member has already given you a private channel.
Used to understand how you wish to give. We do not collect payment-card data on this website. Follow-up, if any, will use the email you provide.
Used to record a request to join or leave updates about education, events, and ways to end child marriage. Unsubscribe requests will be honoured once they reach our actual mailing process.
Blog comment fields are validated in the browser like other forms. Do not publish another person’s private story.
This static site does not set a first-party analytics account in the code we provide. Your browser may still send standard technical data to whichever host serves the files (for example, an IP address in a server log). We do not control every host configuration. Fonts and icons may be loaded from third-party networks (Google Fonts, Font Awesome / Cloudflare). Those providers may process your IP address and browser data under their own policies. You can block third-party requests with browser tools; the site may still function with system fonts and without some icons.
We do not use the forms to drop advertising cookies. If a future version adds cookies for language or donation memory, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent.
When we do receive personal data through email or a process connected to this charity, we use it to: answer you; follow up on a gift or volunteer offer; send newsletters you requested; keep a modest record of correspondence; protect children and the Organisation against fraud or abuse; and meet accounting or charity-reporting duties that may apply to us. We do not sell personal data. We do not use children’s stories for advertising in a way that identifies a child at risk.
Legal bases, where a law requires one, may include your consent (newsletters), our legitimate interest in running a charity and replying to supporters, a contract-like step to process a gift you asked us to complete, and legal obligation for financial records. You may withdraw consent for marketing emails using the unsubscribe page or an email to us.
Child, early, and forced marriage work is sensitive. We do not want this website to become a file of at-risk girls. Do not submit a child’s full name, school, village, photograph, or family details through public forms. If you are a child, please ask a trusted adult to contact us. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through these pages.
Programme teams, when they exist beyond this website, must minimise data, restrict access, avoid public identification, and follow safeguarding rules. Photographs on the site are illustrative of education and community life. They must not be copied in a way that labels a depicted child as a marriage survivor unless we have said so in a safe, consented way.
If you believe we have published or stored information that endangers a child, email info@cocukyastaevliligeson.com with “Safeguarding” in the subject. We will treat that message as urgent.
We may share information with volunteers or service providers who need it to help us reply, host email, or keep books, under a duty of confidentiality. We may share information if required by law or to protect a child from serious harm. We do not share supporter lists with other organisations for their own marketing. Social media buttons are links; if you click them, those platforms may see that you came from our site.
Browser form data that never leaves your device is under your control; closing the tab discards it unless your browser autofills. Records we actually keep (emails, gift follow-up) are kept only as long as needed for the purpose, for dispute handling, and for any bookkeeping period that applies. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe plus a short period to prove we honoured the request. Safeguarding records, if any, follow stricter internal rules and are never placed in public HTML.
No website is perfectly secure. Because these forms do not transmit from the page, the main risk is what you type and who can see your screen. When you email us, use a service you trust. We will not ask you by email to send a password or a full card number. If a message claiming to be us asks for that, it is not legitimate.
The internet is global. If we later use processors in more than one region, we will take steps appropriate to the sensitivity of charity and child-protection data. We still will not list a street address or phone number on this site.
You may choose not to fill forms. You may use the unsubscribe page. You may email us to ask what information we hold about you as a supporter, to correct it, to object to marketing, or to request deletion where the law allows and where we are not required to keep a financial or safeguarding record. We may need to verify that the request comes from you. We will not fulfil a request that would put a child at risk or reveal another person’s data.
This website does not use profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal effects. Client-side validation only checks format and required fields.
Google Fonts, icon CDNs, and image hosts have their own privacy notices. Please read them if you want details of their logs. Placeholder social links may not yet point to official profiles.
We may update this Privacy Policy. The date at the top will change. If we begin processing payments on the site or adding analytics cookies, we will describe that clearly before those features go live.
Privacy questions: info@cocukyastaevliligeson.com or the contact form with the subject “Privacy.” We do not publish a phone number or postal address on this website. Thank you for helping us protect childhoods without putting children on display.
